Changes to public transport routes on Sunday during the Rimi Riga Marathon 2026

On Sunday, 17 May, during the Rimi Riga Marathon 2026, vehicle traffic will be closed at certain times in several areas of the city, which will affect public transport. We encourage both marathon participants and other passengers to allow more time for their travel than usual, as traffic restrictions in the city will be quite extensive.

Changes to public transport routes will be in effect from the start of service early in the morning until the end of the race at approx. 17.20.

Shortly before the start of each race and for approx. 20 minutes after the start, bus, trolleybus, and tram service will be completely suspended on 11. novembra krastmala near Akmens tilts, on Akmens tilts, and at Uzvaras bulvāris up to Raņķa dambis.

All buses and trolleybuses heading toward Pārdaugava that normally cross the Akmens tilts will run on the tram tracks from 06.55 to 16.30 and will stop at the "Nacionālā bibliotēka" tram stop.

During the race start times, traffic on Akmens tilts will be closed, so the operation of bus route 22 toward Riga Airport will also be affected. We encourage passengers to allow extra time for their journey to ensure they arrive at the airport on time!

BUS ROUTES

From approx. 12.35 until approx. 13.00 bus routes 3, 13, 22, 32, 37, 41, 43, 53 heading from the city centre will not stop at the "Valsts arhīvs" stop.

Bus route 2

In the direction from Vecmīlgrāvis

From approx. 07.05 until approx. 13.45, buses will follow the route to Pulkveža Brieža iela, then turn around at the intersection of Pulkveža Brieža iela and Hanzas iela to travel in the opposite direction and continue on to their final stop in Vecmīlgrāvis.
From approx. 13.45 until approx. 17.20, buses will follow the route to Pulkveža Brieža iela, then continue along Pulkveža Brieža iela, Hanzas iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.

In the direction to Vecmīlgrāvis

From approx. 07.15 until approx. 13.45 the route from Abrenes iela to Pētersalas iela will be closed.
From approx. 13.45 until approx. 17.20, buses will run from Abrenes iela along the route to E. Benjamiņas iela, then along E. Benjamiņas iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Bruņinieku iela, Sporta iela, Skanstes iela, Hanzas iela, Pulkveža Brieža iela, Ganību dambis, and continue along the route.
A temporary bus stop named "Hanzas iela" will be located on Pulkveža Brieža iela before the intersection with Hanzas iela.

Bus route 3

In the direction from Daugavgrīva

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 11.45, buses will follow the route to 13. janvāra iela, then continue along 13. janvāra iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Pērnavas iela, and then continue along the route.
From approx. 11.45 until approx. 17.20, buses will follow the route to 13. janvāra iela, then continue along 13. janvāra iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Bruņinieku iela, Brīvības iela, and then continue along the route.

In the direction from Pļavnieki

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 11.45, buses will follow the route to Pērnavas iela, then along Pērnavas iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, 13. janvāra iela, then along the route to Uzvaras bulvāris, then along Uzvaras bulvāris, Slokas iela, Dagmāras iela, Buļļu iela, Dzirciema iela, Lidoņu iela, Daugavgrīvas iela, and then along the route.
Buses from 07.30 until 10.30, in the direction to Daugavgrīva, the bus will stop at the "Mārtiņa iela", "Baldones iela", and "Pulka sēta" stops only with the permission of a representative of the organisers.
From approx. 11.45 until approx. 17.20, buses will follow the route to Brīvības iela, then along Brīvības iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, 13. janvāra iela, 11. novembra krastmala, Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Slokas iela, Dagmāras iela, Buļļu iela, Dzirciema iela, Lidoņu iela, Daugavgrīvas iela, and then continue along the route.

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 11.45, buses will follow the route to Pērnavas iela, then along Pērnavas iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, V. Purvīša iela, Abrenes iela.
From approx. 11.45 until approx. 17.20, buses will follow the route to Brīvības iela, then continue along Brīvības iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, V. Purvīša iela, and Abrenes iela.

In the direction from Abrenes iela

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 11.45, buses will follow the route to Satekles iela, then continue along Satekles iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, and Pērnavas iela, and then continue along the route.
From approx. 11.45 until approx. 17.20, buses will follow the route to Satekles iela, then continue along Satekles iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Bruņinieku iela, Brīvības iela, and then continue along the route.

Bus route 9

In the direction from Mežaparks

On the main route to Abrenes iela, the bus departs at 06.11.
From Mežaparks, trips at 06.56 and 07.43 will run to Ķīšezera iela, then turn left onto G. Zemgala gatve, cross the G. Zemgala gatve overpass, and continue along Brīvības gatve, Brīvības iela, Pērnavas iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, V. Purvīša iela, and Abrenes iela.
From Saules dārzs, starting with the trip at 08.31 until 11.09, buses will follow the route to Ķīšezera iela, then turn left onto G. Zemgala gatve, cross the G. Zemgala gatve overpass, and continue along Brīvības gatve, Brīvības iela, Pērnavas iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, V. Purvīša iela, and Abrenes iela. The route from Mežaparks to Saules dārzs will be closed.
From Saules dārzs, the bus at 11.55 will follow the route to Ķīšezera iela, then make a left turn onto G. Zemgala gatve, cross the G. Zemgala gatve overpass, and continue along Brīvības gatve, Brīvības iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, V. Purvīša iela, and Abrenes iela.
From Mežaparks, buses will resume service with a departure at 12.39 and will run until approx. 17.20 along the route to Brīvības iela, then along Brīvības iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, V. Purvīša iela, and Abrenes iela.

In the direction from Abrenes iela

On the main route to Mežaparks, buses will depart at 05.30 and at 06.15.
On the trip at 07.02 from Abrenes iela, buses will follow the route to Satekles iela, then along Satekles iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Pērnavas iela, Brīvības iela, Brīvības gatve, make a left turn onto G. Zemgala gatve, cross the G. Zemgala gatve overpass, take the exit onto Gaujas iela, make a right turn onto Gaujas iela, Čiekurkalna 2. līnija, Čiekurkalna 1. šķērslīnija, Čiekurkalna 1. līnija, and continue along the route to Mežaparks.
Starting with the trip at 07.47 until 11.11 from Abrenes iela, buses will follow the route to Satekles iela, then along Satekles iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Pērnavas iela, Brīvības iela, Brīvības gatve, make a left turn onto G. Zemgala gatve, cross the G. Čaka iela, Bruņinieku iela, Brīvības iela, Brīvības gatve, making a left turn onto G. Zemgala gatve, the G. Zemgala gatve overpass, the exit onto Gaujas iela, Gaujas iela, Čiekurkalna 2. līnija, Čiekurkalna 1. šķērslīnija, Čiekurkalna 1. līnija to the temporary terminus "Saules dārzs".
Starting with the trip at 12.43 until approx. 17.20, buses will run along the route to Satekles iela, then along Satekles iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Bruņinieku iela, Brīvības iela and further along the route to Mežaparks.

Bus route 10

In the direction from Jaunmārupe

From 07.15 until 08.30, buses will follow the route to the "Mūkusalas rotācijas aplis" stop on K. Ulmaņa gatve, then turn around to travel in the opposite direction and will run along the local-use lane of K. Ulmaņa gatve, Bauskas iela, Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts, and continue along the route.

In the direction from Abrenes iela

From approx. 07.00 until 16.20, buses will follow the route to Akmens tilts, then along Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, Mūkusalas iela, and continue along the route.

In the direction to Abrenes iela

From 07.15 until 08.30, buses will follow the route to Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, then turn around to travel in the opposite direction before the Mūkusala roundabout and will run along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, Bauskas iela, Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Akmens tilts, and continue along the route.

Bus route 11

In the direction of Jaunciems, Suži

From 07.10 until approx. 12.50, buses will run from the terminus "Pētersala" along Pulkveža Brieža iela, Hanzas iela, Skanstes iela, K. Valdemāra iela, and continue along the route.
On Hanzas and Skanstes iela, buses will run on the opposite side of the road, where temporary stops named "Sporta iela" and "Arēna Rīga" will be set up for the time being.
A temporary bus stop named "Hanzas iela" will be located on Pulkveža Brieža iela before the intersection with Hanzas iela.
From approx. 12.50 until approx. 17.20, buses will follow the route to E. Benjamiņas iela, then continue along E. Benjamiņas iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Bruņinieku iela, K. Valdemāra iela, and then continue along the route.

In the direction from Jaunciems, Suži

From 07.10 until approx. 12.50, buses will follow the route to K. Valdemāra iela, then continue along K. Valdemāra iela, Skanstes iela, Hanzas iela, and Pulkveža Brieža iela to the terminus "Pētersala".
A temporary stop named "Hanzas iela" will be set up on Hanzas iela before the intersection with Pulkveža Brieža iela.
From approx. 12.50 until approx. 17.20, buses will follow the route to K. Valdemāra iela, then continue along K. Valdemāra iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.

Bus route 12 in the direction from Abrenes iela

From approx. 06.55 until 08.15, the busses will follow the route to E. Benjamiņas iela, then continue along E. Benjamiņas iela, Lāčplēša iela, the Salu tilts exit to Krasta iela, Krasta iela, and then continue along the route. The stops included in the route are not omitted.

Bus route 13

In the direction from Babīte station

From approx. 06.50 until approx. 11.00, buses will run along the route to Buļļu iela, then continue on Buļļu iela, Dagmāras iela, Lilijas iela, Daugavgrīvas iela, Raņķa dambis, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts, 11. novembra krastmala, 13. janvāra iela, Marijas iela, and continue along the route.
From approx. 11.00 until approx. 17.20, buses will follow the route to Raņķa dambis, then along Raņķa dambis, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts, 11. novembra krastmala, 13. janvāra iela, Marijas iela, and continue along the route.

In the direction from Preču 2

From approx. 06.50 until approx. 17.20, buses will follow the route to Marijas iela, then along Marijas iela, 13. janvāra iela, 11. novembra krastmala, Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Slokas iela, Dagmāras iela, Buļļu iela, Dzirciema iela, Slokas iela, and then continue along the route.
Buses from 07.30 until 10.30, in the direction to Babīte station, the bus will stop at the "Mārtiņa iela", "Baldones iela", and "Pulka sēta" stops only with the permission of a representative of the organisers.

From 07.15 until approx. 17.20, buses will run from Pļavnieki cemetery along the route to Bruņinieku iela, then along Bruņinieku iela, Tērbatas iela, and Stabu iela, and back along the route to Pļavnieki cemetery.
Until the specified time, buses will run on a shortened route. The route between Tērbatas iela and Pētersala, as well as between Pētersala and Stabu iela, will be closed.

From 07.00 until 16.40, the busses will follow the route to Kalnciema iela, then continue along Kalnciema iela, Slokas iela, and Uzvaras bulvāris, and then continue along the route. A temporary stop "Valsts arhīvs", will be set up on Slokas iela, just past the intersection with Kalnciema iela.

In the direction from Baloži

From 07.15 until 08.30, the busses will follow the route to Akmeņu iela, then continue along Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts, and then continue along the route.

In the direction from Abrenes iela

From 07.00 until 16.20, the busses will follow the route to Akmens tilts, then continue across Akmens tilts, along Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, and Akmeņu iela, and then continue along the route.

Bus route 24

In the direction from Mangaļsala

From 07.05 until 13.20, buses will follow the route to Viestura prospekts, then continue along Viestura prospekts and Meža prospekts, entering the "Sarkandaugava" terminus of trolleybus route 3, then along Meža prospekts, G. Zemgala gatve, Brīvības gatve, Gaisa tilts, Brīvības iela, Pērnavas iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.
From 13.20 until 17.20, buses will follow the route to Skanstes iela, then continue along Skanstes iela, Sporta iela, Vesetas iela, Hanzas iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.

In the direction from Abrenes iela

From 07.05 until 13.20, buses will follow the route to E. Benjamiņas iela, then along E. Benjamiņas iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Pērnavas iela, Brīvības iela, Gaisa tilts, Brīvības gatve, G. Zemgala gatve, and Meža prospekts, arriving at the "Sarkandaugava" terminus of trolleybus route 3, then along Meža prospekts, Viestura prospekts, and continuing along the route.

In the direction from Katlakalns

From 07.15 until 08.30, buses will follow the route to Jelgavas iela, then continue along Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts, and then continue along the route.

In the direction from Abrenes iela

From 07.00 until 16.20, buses will follow the route to Akmens tilts, then along Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, Mūkusalas iela, and continue along the route.

Bus route 32 in the direction from Piņķi

From 07.00 until 16.40, the busses will follow the route to Kalnciema iela, then continue along Kalnciema iela, Slokas iela, and Uzvaras bulvāris, and then continue along the route. A temporary stop "Valsts arhīvs", will be set up on Slokas iela, just past the intersection with Kalnciema iela.

Bus routes 37 and 41

In the direction from Imanta

From approx. 07.00 until 17.20, the busses will run from Imanta along the route to Slokas iela, then along Slokas iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts, 11. novembra krastmala, 13. janvāra iela, Merķeļa iela, and Inženieru iela to the stop "Latvijas Universitāte" of the trolleybus route 15. A temporary stop "Valsts arhīvs", will be set up on Slokas iela, just past the intersection with Kalnciema iela.

In the direction to Imanta

From approx. 07.00 until 17.20, the busses will travel along Inženieru iela, Raiņa bulvāris, 13. janvāra iela, 11. novembra krastmala, Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Slokas iela, and continue along the route.

Bus route 48

In the direction from Pļavnieki cemetery

On the main route to Sarkandaugava, buses depart at 06.00 and at 06.55
Starting with the trip from Pļavnieki at 07.29 until 12.27, the busses will run from Pļavnieki cemetery along the route to the G. Zemgala gatve overpass, then along the exit to Gaujas iela, Gaujas iela, Rusova iela, and Ķīšezera iela to the intersection with Ezermalas iela, where it will stop at the "Ķīšezera iela" stop on Ezermalas iela, turn around to travel in the opposite direction, then along Ķīšezera iela, makes a right turn onto the local access road to G. Zemgala gatve, then across the G. Zemgala gatve overpass, down the exit to Varoņu iela, along Varoņu iela and Meža prospekts to the terminus "Sarkandaugava" (Meža prospekts).

In the direction from Sarkandaugava

On the main route to the Pļavnieki cemetery, trips are made at 06.00 and 06:55.
Trip at 07.52 departs from Sarkandaugava, follows the route to Ķīšezera iela, then turns left from Ķīšezera iela onto G. Zemgala gatve, and continues along the route.
From 08.27 until 12.46 from Sarkandaugava, the busses will run along Meža prospekts, Varoņu iela, the G. Zemgala gatve overpass, the exit to Ķīšezera iela, makes a left turn onto Ķīšezera iela, along Ķīšezera iela to the intersection with Ezermalas iela, where it turns around to travel in the opposite direction, then along Ķīšezera iela, where at Ķīšezera iela it stops at the "Ķīšezera iela" stop, Ķīšezera iela, then makes a left turn onto the G. Zemgala gatve overpass and continues along the route to Pļavnieku cemetery.
A temporary stop "Gaujas iela" will be set up on G. Zemgala gatve, before the intersection with Ķīšezera iela.

Bus route 50

In the direction from TEC-2

From approx. 07.10 until 17.20, the busses will follow the route to Bruņinieku iela, then continue along Bruņinieku iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.

In the direction from Abrenes iela

From approx. 07.10 until 17.20, the busses will follow the route to E. Benjamiņas iela, then continue along E. Benjamiņas iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, and Stabu iela, and then continue along the route.

Bus route 53

In the direction from Zolitūde

From 07.00 until 17.20, the busses will follow the route to Kalnciema iela, then along Kalnciema iela, Slokas iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts, 11. novembra krastmala, 13. janvāra iela, Merķeļa iela, and Inženieru iela to the stop "Latvijas Universitāte" of the trolleybus route 15.
A temporary stop "Valsts arhīvs", will be set up on Slokas iela, just past the intersection with Kalnciema iela.

In the direction from centre

From 07.00 until 17.20, the busses will run along Inženieru iela, Raiņa bulvāris, 13. janvāra iela, 11. novembra krastmala, Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Slokas iela, Kalnciema iela, and continue along the route.

TRAM ROUTES

Tram route 1

From 07.40 until 10.30, in the direction to Imanta, trams will stop at the "Mārtiņa iela" and "Baldones iela" stops only with the permission of a representative of the organisers.
From approx. From 12.35 until approx. 13.00, the trams will not stop at the "Valsts arhīvs" stop (in the direction to Imanta)

Tram route 5

Trams from Iļģuciems to Mīlgrāvis will run at 05.42
Starting with a trip at 07.42 until 17.00, trams will run from Iļģuciems along the route to Aspazijas bulvāris, then along Aspazijas bulvāris, K. Barona iela, Radio iela, 13. janvāra iela, and back along the route to Iļģuciems. From Mīlgrāvis the route will be closed.
The tram from Mīlgrāvis to Iļģuciems departs at 06.39 (at the National Theatre at 07.04).
Trams departing from tram depot. 3 (Fridriķa iela 2) at 05.59 will carry passengers to Iļģuciems. After that, the trip will run to13. janvāra iela at 06.42 and further from 13. janvāra iela at 07.03 will carry passengers to depot 3.
From 07.40 until 10.30, in the direction to Iļģuciems, at the stops "Mārtiņa iela", "Baldones iela", and "Pulka sēta", trams will stop only with the permission of a representative of the organisers.
From approx. 12.35 until approx. 13.00, trams will not stop at the stop "Valsts arhīvs" (in the direction to Iļģuciems).
In the afternoon, the first trip on the main route from Iļģuciems to Mīlgrāvis will depart at 17.14 and from Mīlgrāvis to Iļģuciems at 18.08.

Tram route 7

Trams from 06.57 until 17.00, will run from Ķengarags along the route to Aspazijas bulvāris, then along Aspazijas bulvāris, K. Barona iela, Radio iela, 13. janvāra iela and back on the route to Ķengarags. From Ausekļa iela the route will be closed.
The last trip from Ķengarags to Ausekļa iela will depart at 06.38 and from Ausekļa iela to Ķengarags at 07.09.
In the afternoon, the first trip on the main route from Ķengarags to Ausekļa iela will be at 16.38 and from Ausekļa iela to Ķengarags at 17.08.

Tram route 8

Trams from Tapešu iela to Mīlgrāvis will not be running.
Trip at 06.09 will go to the depot, but starting with the trip at 06.40 (the main trip on route 8A) until 17.00, trams will run from Tapešu iela to Stacijas laukums. From Mīlgrāvis the route will be closed.
The last trip from Mīlgrāvis to Tapešu iela will depart at 06.05 (check-in at the National Theatre at 06.30)
Trams departing from depot 3 (Fridriķa iela) at 05.30 will carry passengers to Tapešu iela, and at 06.09 from Tapešu iela will travel to 13. janvāra iela, and from there at 06.31 will travel to depot 3.
The first trip on the main route from Tapešu iela to Mīlgrāvis will depart at 17.40, and from Mīlgrāvis to Tapešu iela at 17.33.

Tram route 11

Trams starting with the trip at 06.48 until 17.00, will run from Mežaparks along the route to Aspazijas bulvāris, then along Aspazijas bulvāris, 13. janvāra iela, Radio iela, K. Barona iela and back along the route to Mežaparks. From Ausekļa iela the route will be closed.
The last trip from Mežaparks to Ausekļa iela will be at 06.25 and from Ausekļa iela to Mežaparks at 07.00.
In the afternoon, the first trip on the main route from Mežaparks to Ausekļa iela will resume at 16.41 and from Ausekļa iela to Mežaparks at 17.16.

Tram route 14

Trams from 07.00 until 10.00, in the direction to Iļģuciems, will stop at the "Mārtiņa iela", "Baldones iela", and "Pulka sēta" stops only with the permission of a representative of the organisers.
From approx. 12.35 until approx. 13.00 trams will not stop at the stop "Valsts arhīvs" (in the direction to Iļģuciems).

TROLLEYBUS ROUTES

During the marathon, the departure directions for trolleybus routes 5, 15, 20, and 22 will be changed from trolleybus depot 1, while those for routes 4 and 17 will be changed from trolleybus depot 2. There will also be changes to the directions of trolleybus 15 heading to trolleybus depot 1.

Trolleybus route 3

In the direction to Sarkandaugava

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 12.50, the trolleybuses will run from the terminus "Pētersala" along Pulkveža Brieža iela, Hanzas iela, Skanstes iela, K. Valdemāra iela, and continue along the route. On Hanzas and Skanstes iela, trolleybuses will run on the opposite side of the road, where the temporary stops "Sporta iela" and "Arēna Rīga" have been set up for the time being.
On Pulkveža Brieža iela, before the intersection with Hanzas iela, a temporary stop named "Hanzas iela" will be set up. From 12.50 until 17.20, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Marijas iela, then continue along Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Bruņinieku iela, K. Valdemāra iela, and then continue along the route.

In the direction from Sarkandaugava and Kundziņsala

From approx. 07.10 until 12.50, the trolleybuses will run along the route to K. Valdemāra iela, then along K. Valdemāra iela, Skanstes iela, Hanzas iela, and Pulkveža Brieža iela to the terminus "Pētersala".
A temporary stop named "Hanzas iela" will be set up on Hanzas iela, before the intersection with Pulkveža Brieža iela.
From approx. 12.50 until 17.20, the trolleybuses will follow the route to K. Valdemāra iela, then continue along K. Valdemāra iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.

Trolleybus route 4

In the direction from Jugla

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 11.45, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Brīvības iela, then along Brīvības iela, Pērnavas iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.
From approx. 11.45 until approx. 17.20, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Brīvības iela, then continue along Brīvības iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, Emīlijas Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.
From 07.00 until 08.30, trolleybuses towards Ziepniekkalns will run on Salu tilts, without going to Mūkusala roundabout. During this time, trolleybuses will not stop at "Zaķusala", "Lucavsala" and "Mūkusalas rotācijas aplis".

In the direction from Ziepniekkalns

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 11.45, trolleybuses will follow the route to Emīlijas Benjamiņas iela, then along Emīlijas Benjamiņas iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Pērnavas iela, Brīvības iela, and then continue along the route.
From approx. 11.45 until approx. 17.20, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Emīlijas Benjamiņas iela, then along Emīlijas Benjamiņas iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Bruņinieku iela, Brīvības iela, and then continue along the route.

Trolleybus route 5 will be closed from the morning until the end of the marathon. The first trip from Daugava Stadium will be at 16.55, and from P. Stradiņš Hospital at 16.51.

Trolleybus route 9

From 07.00 until 16.40, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Kalnciema iela, then continue along Kalnciema iela, Slokas iela, and Uzvaras bulvāris, and then continue along the route. A temporary stop "Valsts arhīvs", will be set up on Slokas iela, just past the intersection with Kalnciema iela.
Due to the closure of trolleybus route 25 during the marathon, trolleybus route 9 will have an increased number of trips and will run according to a temporary schedule.
From approx. 12.35 until approx. 13.00, trolleybuses will not stop at the stop "Valsts arhīvs" (in the direction from centre).
From 06.55 until 16.30, the trolleybuses will stop at the tram stop "Nacionālā bibliotēka" (Uzvaras bulvāris).

Trolleybus routes 14 and 17

In the direction from Mežciems and Purvciems

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 11.45, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Brīvības iela, then along Brīvības iela, Pērnavas iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, Elizabetes iela, and Satekles iela to the Central Station (the terminus of trolleybus route 18/23) and back along Satekles iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Pērnavas iela, Brīvības iela, and then along the route to Mežciems and Purvciems, respectively.
Starting with the first trip from Mežciems at 06.55, trolleybus 14 will follow the detour route.
Starting with the first trip from Purvciems at 07.01, trolleybus 17 will follow the detour route.
From approx. 11.00 until approx. 17.00, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Brīvības iela, then along Brīvības iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, Elizabetes iela, Satekles iela to the Central Station (the terminus of the route 18/23) and back along Satekles iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Bruņinieku iela, Brīvības iela and then along the route to Mežciems and Purvciems respectively.

Trolleybus 17 stop "Centrālā stacija" on Raiņa bulvāris (near the tunnel) will be closed.

Trolleybus route 19

In the morning, there is one trip on the route from Pētersala to Ziepniekkalns at 06.50. After that, the section from the terminus "Pētersala" to Inženieru iela will be closed until the end of the marathon.
The stop "Ziepniekkalns" (the terminus of trolleybus 19) will be closed.
From 07.00 until approx. 17.20, the trolleybuses will run from the terminus of trolleybus 15, "Latvijas Universitāte" (Inženieru iela) to Ziepniekkalns via Valdeķu iela, then along Valdeķu iela and Ozolciema iela to the Ziepniekkalns D/P (the terminus of trolleybus 4).
From Ziepniekkalns D/P it will run along Ozolciema iela, Valdeķu iela and then along the route to Inženieru iela (the terminus of trolleybus 15).
From 07.00 until 08.30, the trolleybuses heading toward Ziepniekkalns will run via the Salu tilts without turning onto the Mūkusala roundabout, and during this time they will not stop at the "Zaķusala", "Lucavsala", and "Mūkusalas rotācijas aplis".

Trolleybus route 25

In the direction from Iļģuciems, trips will depart at 06.17 and 06.37
In the direction from Brīvības iela, a trip will be made at 06.36, after that, the route will be closed until the end of the marathon.
After the end of the marathon, the first trip on trolleybus route 25 from Iļģuciems departs at 16.41, from Brīvības iela at 17.17.

Trolleybus route 27

In the direction from Ziepniekkalns

From 07.15 until 08.30, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Jelgavas iela, then continue along Jelgavas iela, Akmeņu iela, Valguma iela, Uzvaras bulvāris, Akmens tilts, and then continue along the route.
Starting with the trip from Ziepniekkalns at 07.30, the trolleybus will follow the detour route.

In the direction from Stacijas laukums

From 07.00 until 16.20, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Akmens tilts, along Akmens tilts, Uzvaras bulvāris, Valguma iela, Akmeņu iela, Mūkusalas iela and then continue along the route.
The trolleybuses will stop at the tram stop "Nacionālā bibliotēka" (Uzvaras bulvāris). The stop "Nacionālā bibliotēka" (Mūkusalas iela) in the direction from the centre will be closed during this time.
The last trip on the main route from the stop "Stacijas laukums" will be at 06.43 and the first trip on the detour will be at 07.21.

Trolleybus route 31

In the direction from Berģuciems

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 11.45, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Brīvības iela, then along Brīvības iela, Pērnavas iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, E. Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.
From approx. 11.45 until approx. 17.20, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Brīvības iela, then continue along Brīvības iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, Emīlijas Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.
Trolleybuses, starting with the first morning trip at 06.45 from Berģuciems, will run by the detour.

In the direction from Centrāltirgus

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 11.45, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Satekles iela, then continue along Satekles iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Pērnavas iela, Brīvības iela, and then continue along the route.
From approx. 11.45 until approx. 17.20, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Satekles iela, then continue along Satekles iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Bruņinieku iela, Brīvības iela, and then continue along the route.

Trolleybus route 34

In the direction from Mazā Juglas iela

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 11.45, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Brīvības iela, then along Brīvības iela, Pērnavas iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, Emīlijas Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.
From approx. 11.45 until approx. 17.20, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Brīvības iela, then continue along Brīvības iela, Stabu iela, A. Čaka iela, Marijas iela, Emīlijas Benjamiņas iela, and then continue along the route.
The last trip on the main route will depart at 06.27.

In the direction from Centrāltirgus

From approx. 07.10 until approx. 11.45, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Satekles iela, then continue along Satekles iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Pērnavas iela, Brīvības iela, and then continue along the route.
From approx. 11.45 until approx. 17.20, the trolleybuses will follow the route to Satekles iela, then continue along Satekles iela, Marijas iela, A. Čaka iela, Bruņinieku iela, Brīvības iela, and then continue along the route.
The last trip on the main route will depart at 05.30.

Also, please note that due to the marathon, parking restrictions will be in effect at several parking lots managed by Rīgas satiksme from Friday, 15 May, at 15.00 until Monday, 18 May. Restrictions will be in place in parking lots at 11. novembra krastmala, in Riga Old Town, on Z. A Meierovica bulvāris, Kalpaka bulvāris, Elizabetes iela, and elsewhere near the marathon route. Restrictions on the use of the underground parking lot on K. Valdemāra iela are also expected.

Residents with parking permits are encouraged to use any nearby paid parking lot during the marathon. Drivers are kindly asked to follow the traffic signs posted by the organisers and check www.riga.lv for the latest information.
